Classic Game Room buys a SUPER NINTENDO SNES system
Classic Game Room HD buys a SUPER NINTENDO video game console! Can you believe it? A used SNES is now in the possession of the world’s most powerful video game review show, CLASSIC SNES OWNING GAME ROOM! Now we can review all of the classics except with a “super” in front of them, like “SUPER Metroid” and “SUPER Star Wars”. This console purchase was overshadowed by our recent adventure to buy a Sega Saturn, and we were excited to find a SNES at the same store for $40 with controller and power supply and wires etc… We turned it on, it works. Plays well except the game seems a bit wobbly in there. Classic Game Room reviews video games from years past and the future, although don’t call us retro reviews, because we are permanently stuck in the ’80s which isn’t retro, it’s now. We’re now reviewers. We review games now. Not then, you just missed it. It’s now. The SNES joins the Sega Saturn, Sega Genesis, Mega Drive MD , Sega CD, 32x, Playstation 1, PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Entertainment System NES, N64 and Magnavox Odyssey 2 consoles for the awesome CGRHD show!

i played super star …
i played super star wars for the SNES, and quite honestly i found it to be a crap game, i didnt advance terribly far in it, but then again, i didnt really sense the need for it after playing the initial levels. please show no mercy in making your SNES reviews, be on guard against bias for the beloved genesis, but truly the genesis ruled because the games were more FUN, the SNES games paled in comparison largely because, although polished, a great many games failed to factor in that vital element

Where did you get …
Where did you get that SNES? It looks almost brand new. I can see that the controller looks has a scratch or two on it, but the system is nearly flawless.

super metriod,contra III., super mario world,
mortalo kombat 1+2, donkey kong country, doom, wolfeinstein 3d, super castlevania IV, Final fantasy III/IV, zelda-a link to the past, f-zero, and star fox.

SNES was better …
SNES was better than sega. Then sega made sega CD, then made sega 32X, then sega saturn, and Dreamcast. Of all these systems Sega Genesis had the most success.

its probably the cart, just dip a Q-tip in some alcohol and rub it along the connectors.
But also check the connector pins in the SNES itself make sure they’re not bent out at all.

Yeah I already said that, the PAL one uses the original Japanese design. Most American I’ve talked to agrees it looks a lot better.
